AIS Empowers Volunteers with Digital Health Check and Cyber Peace of Mind Training

AIS and the Department of Health Service Support (DSS), Ministry of Public Health, signed a memorandum of understanding to promote cyber knowledge and build digital immunity for more than 1 million village health volunteers (VHVs) nationwide by connecting the “Smart VHV” application with the “Individual Cyber Immunity Check” tool or Digital Health Check, as well as promoting learning through the “Cyber Peace of Mind” course on the digital platform to campaign for VHVs to be aware of cyber threats and become leaders in creating digital health for people in the community.

This collaboration focuses on using technology to enhance the working potential of VHWs nationwide by connecting the “Smart VHWs” application with AIS’s Digital Health Check cyber immunity check tool, which allows VHWs to check their digital health conveniently, quickly, and accurately. In addition, there is a promotion of learning through the “Cyber Peace of Mind” course, which is designed to allow VHWs to access knowledge about cyber threats and understand how to protect themselves easily through a digital platform that is convenient for learning anywhere, anytime.

Mrs. Sai Chon Traiphamakudom, Head of Public Relations and Business Relations, AIS

AIS is committed to pushing Thai society towards safe and sustainable use of digital technology under the concept of ‘Year of Cyber Security’. In the past, we have carried out campaign activities in various educational institutions to create a foundation of digital health knowledge for students, teachers, and educational personnel. This year, we recognize the important role of VHWs as the main force of the public health system and as thought leaders in the community. This is the origin of the continued cooperation with the Department of Health Service Support (DHSS) to jointly promote the use of technology to enhance the potential of VHWs, which number more than 1 million nationwide, both in terms of operations and increasing digital knowledge and understanding, so that they are ready to deal with online threats and can effectively apply their knowledge to promote digital health at the community level.

Dr. Panuwat Panket, Director-General of the Department of Health Service Support

The Department of Health Service Support is committed to enhancing the potential of VHWs to be able to use digital technology wisely and safely. This collaboration with AIS is an important step in upgrading the digital well-being of VHWs through a tool to check individual cybersecurity immunity and learning media for the “Warm Heart Cyber” course on the VHW Smart Application, which will help increase knowledge and skills to effectively handle cyber threats and promote VHWs’ work to be more confident in the digital age. We hope that this collaboration will be the starting point for creating a sustainable digital well-being society at every community level.

Ms. Saichol

This collaboration between AIS and the NHSO is another important step in driving Thai society towards sustainable digital safety. Enhancement of cyber knowledge and skills for VHWs will not only help them confidently deal with online threats, but will also expand to become a model for digital health for people in the community, reinforcing the mission of driving the “Year of Cyber Safety” and the joint mission to create a truly safe, strong, and sustainable digital society at all levels.
